Quick Response Teams (QRT)
Due to recent events, the Jewish community in the US, particularly on college campuses, is experiencing heightened fear. Demonstrations have occurred outside Jewish Community Centers, student organizations, synagogues, and individual residences, resulting in vandalism and further exacerbating concerns.

The QRT model is meant to augment law enforcement capabilities when it comes to answering a call for service about a "suspicious person" in a Jewish community. It is NOT meant to replace Law Enforcement. Rather, knowing that these teams exist should serve to alleviate some of the fear in the community regarding events that do not rise to the level of calling 911.
QRT Response
Students are able to call the designated QRT phone number, available 24-7. The nearest participating Private Investigator is dispatched to check on the student and investigate the concern. SOS will also notify the Intelligence Unit of the local law enforcement.
